Terms of Service — AwardSnipe

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AwardSnipe Chrome extension and the website at awardsnipe.com (together, the "Service") operated by Pablo Quijano, a sole proprietor doing business as AwardSnipe ("we," "us," "our").

By installing the extension, redeeming a license code, or using the Service in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What we offer

AwardSnipe is a browser-based form-fill helper. It auto-fills the JAL APIS booking forms with passenger details you've already saved in your local browser profile, so you can complete bookings faster.

The Service is sold pay-per-use. One license code = one token = one full booking-fill chain. No subscription, no auto-renewal.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you are.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of the data you save in your AwardSnipe profile (passport details, dates of birth, addresses, etc.).
  • Reviewing the JAL booking summary page and confirming the final charge yourself. The Service does not auto-submit payment by default. An opt-in setting allows auto-clicking the final Pay button; if you enable it, you accept full responsibility for the resulting charge.
  • Complying with the terms of service of any third-party site (including JAL) that you use the extension on. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Japan Airlines or any other carrier.
  • Keeping your license code private. Codes are bound to the first device that redeems them; sharing or reselling codes is prohibited.

4. License codes, tokens, and refunds

  • A license code redeemed in the extension binds to a per-installation device identifier. Once bound, the code cannot be redeemed on a different device until we manually unbind it (email support@awardsnipe.com).
  • One token is consumed when a chain begins on the JAL availability page. The chain is tolerant of single-page retries within the same browser session — you don't pay twice for one race-day attempt.
  • Reaching the final summary page is treated as a completed fill, even if you don't click the Complete button. The token is consumed.

Refund policy

We will issue a full refund if:

  • Our license server fails to deliver the code you purchased.
  • A code you purchased cannot be redeemed for a reason that's our fault.
  • The chain fails to start due to a server outage on our side.

We will not issue a refund if:

  • You changed your mind after purchase but the code was redeemed and consumed.
  • The chain failed because JAL changed its booking forms in a way that broke the field map (we'll publish an extension update; you can use the credit on the next attempt once the update lands).
  • You used a code on a booking you ended up not completing — the work is the form fill, not the booking outcome.

To request a refund, email support@awardsnipe.com with your code or order reference within 30 days of purchase.

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the extension beyond what's permitted by applicable law (and what's publicly available in our open repository).
  • Share, resell, or redistribute license codes.
  • Use the Service to engage in fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful activity.
  • Attempt to circumvent the license server, rate limits, or device binding.
  • Use the Service in a way that violates any third-party site's terms of service. The fact that the extension can fill JAL's forms does not mean we're encouraging you to violate JAL's terms; that's between you and JAL.

We reserve the right to terminate your access and deactivate your license codes if we determine you've violated these Terms.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.
  • The booking forms will always be filled correctly — JAL ships UI changes that can break the field map without notice.
  • You will succeed in booking any particular award seat. Award inventory is JAL's; we just help you fill the form faster.
  • The extension will be compatible with future Chrome versions.

We make no warranty regarding the accuracy of pre-filled data — you're responsible for reviewing the booking summary before confirming payment.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of miles/points, missed bookings, or charges incurred from a fill that proceeded incorrectly.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify users by email or in the extension's release notes. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. License codes that are deactivated due to Terms violations are not refundable.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction.
